Baby Brain Bundle

Premature newborns are at risk for brain injury that can negatively affect their development as they grow into toddlers and children.  Some interventions involving specific medical care techniques and also prioritizing partnerships with neonatal intensive care unit families have been shown to decrease injury and/or improve neurologic outcomes in children that were born prematurely.  Your experience as a parent of a premature infant cared for in the Grady NICU could offer important guidance as we begin a project focused on improving these outcomes.
