We are pleased to announce an upcoming webinar, Predatory Marketing of Formula in Black Communities. Join us on Thursday, August 31, 12:00 – 1:15 pm ET / 9:00 - 10:15am PT as leaders in the field discuss the impact of exploitive marketing practices and tactics used by infant formula companies to engage parents and healthcare workers and share insights and culturally-informed strategies to ensure Black families are prepared and supported to make informed infant feeding decisions.
Webinar attendees will obtain greater insights into the role and impact of the WHO/UNICEF Code on Black communities and identify equity-centered strategies and best practices related to implementation of the Code. Panelists include:
