Big News!
Reaching Our Sisters Everywhere (ROSE) and Reaching Our Brothers Everywhere (ROBE) are thrilled to unveil a bold new chapter in our journey toward maternal—and family—health equity. This strategic leadership transformation will:
Strengthen our vision: By uniting ROSE’s decades-long commitment to supporting Black mothers with ROBE’s pioneering work in fatherhood engagement, we’re building a more holistic ecosystem of care.
Elevate our team: Incoming leaders bring deep expertise in community health, policy advocacy, and organizational development, ensuring that every program we launch is rooted in cultural competence, evidence-based practice, and lived experience.
Expand our impact: Under this refreshed leadership structure, we’ll accelerate existing initiatives like our Villages Innovating Perinatal Services (VIP) project, while launching new partnerships to reach even more families nationwide.
“This transformation isn’t just about titles or org charts,” says Dr. Kimarie Bugg, former ED of ROSE. “It’s about deepening our promise to Black communities—to ensure that every parent and child has access to respectful, compassionate care from pregnancy through infancy and beyond.”
With these changes in place, ROSE and ROBE are better positioned than ever to dismantle systemic barriers, amplify community voices, and co-create solutions that honor the wisdom and strength of Black families. Stay tuned for announcements about our new Executive Director, Chief Operating Officer, and other key appointments—each chosen for their passion, expertise, and unwavering commitment to equity.
Thank you for your continued support as we embark on this next phase. Together, we will elevate maternal and family health to new heights—one village, one family, one leader at a time.

Congratulations!!! Thank You for your passionate leadership and pursuit of excellence in Breastfeeding.
